About the "Site of the Day"
There are a huge and growing array of think tanks, public policy organizations, and groups of all kinds that make available information on public policy and politics in a state as large as California. If you don’t believe it, just take a look at the resources we provide links to. One of our jobs is to keep up with these.
We hope to accomplish at least one of two things by picking a site every “work” day. First, to highlight content on that day that is compelling and topical, such as a white paper or report that has just been issued, many of which have been months in the making. Secondly, to raise consciousness of sites that are excellent sources of information for public policy wonks or political junkies and that you may want to explore and bookmark.
We will place these in an archive of sites of the day for those who want to catch up and learn about ones we have found interesting.
If you find that a site has something particularly compelling for a day or it's one of your favorites, let us know.
